NORTH CHARLESTON (WCSC) - Two detention deputies with the Charleston County Sheriff's Office have been fired after a pair of juveniles managed to escape a detention center in North Charleston a few weeks ago.

Charleston County Sheriff's deputies say the two juveniles pried a window open and used a sheet as a rope to escape on June 15.

Christopher Rawls and Tylique Rhoden, both 16 years old and wanted for armed robbery, were captured later that day near Ladson and Dorchester Road.

Two of four people said to be on duty that morning were terminated on June 20.
