BERKELEY COUNTY, SC (WCSC) -

The man wanted for failing to register as a sex offender is in custody, Berkeley County deputies say.

The department thanked the public for tips and said the U.S. Marshals Task Force assisted them in capturing Gil.

Gil was wanted by the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office for failure to register as a sex offender, second offense, authorities said.
