CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - A man charged in a 2012 murder is expected to go to trial Monday.
Authorities believe Broderick Seay, Jr., 24, is one of the two men who banged on Adrian Lyles' door in March of 2012 and assaulted him before driving to Wadmalaw Island, where they shot and killed him.
Lyles' body was found the next morning.
Investigators say the West Ashley man suffered 10 gunshot wounds, six of which were to the head. Prosecutors say three different types of weapons were used in the incident.
In 2014, then-28-year-old Kevin Howard was found guilty of murder, burglary and kidnapping related to the death.
