CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Secretary of State Mark Hammond is offering six free notary public seminars this summer and fall for all South Carolina notaries and those interested in becoming a notary.
These seminars are a public service of the Secretary of State's Office.
Attendees are welcome to attend any of the notary seminars regardless of their county residence or the location of the seminar.
The doors for the seminars will open at 5:30 p.m. on the day scheduled. The seminar will begin promptly at 6 p.m. and is expected to conclude by 7:30 p.m.
Here's the list of seminars around the state:
Lexington County: Aug 30 at Midlands Technical College, Airport Campus in the Academic Center Auditorium.
Charleston County: September 13 at Trident Technical College, Main Campus in the 920 building.
York County: September 20 at York Technical College in the Baxter Hood Center Barnes Theater.
Greenwood County: September 26 at the Greenwood County Library in the American Veterans Auditorium.
Florence/Darlington Counties: October 4 at the Florence Darlington Technical College in building 400.
Spartanburg County: October 11 at Spartanburg Community College in the Tracy J. Gaines Building, room G01.
