BERKELEY COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - Investigators with the Berkeley County Sheriff's office are searching for two suspects accused of stealing a credit card and going on a shopping spree at a Walmart.
BCSO officials released a number of pictures of two suspects involved in a string of automobile break-ins, credit card fraud and auto theft cases.
"After breaking into an automobile in the Moncks Corner area of Berkeley County and stealing the victim's credit card, the suspects drove to the Wal-Mart in Moncks Corner," BCSO officials said.
According to BCSO authorities, two African American males were observed using the victim's stolen credit card to make purchases.
Authorities say the two were observed driving a stolen Nissan Pathfinder in the Walmart parking lot.
Detectives are asking anyone who may be able to identify either of the individuals in the images to contact the Berkeley County Sheriff's Office at 843-719-4412 or Crime Stoppers of the Lowcountry at 843-554-1111.
