Celebration of life to be held for Charleston hit-and-run victim

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Friends and co-workers are holding a celebration of life for a woman who died following what investigators believe was a hit-and-run.

Whitney Jordan worked as a cook at The Alley bar and restaurant in Charleston.

Investigators are searching for answers in the 24-year-old's death on Thursday. They say they believe a hit-and-run driver is responsible for her death and are now searching for clues that will lead them to the driver.

The celebration begins at 6 p.m. Tuesday and ends at 8 p.m. at The Alley.

A vigil was held for Jordan Monday night at Home Team BBQ.
