North Charleston police investigating after two injured in shooting

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - The North Charleston Police Department is investigating after two people were injured in a shooting on Thursday.

NCPD officers responded to the 1900 block of Comstock Avenue in reference to a shooting.

Officers located a male victim, who police say was uncooperative, suffering gunshot wounds to the hand and buttocks.

The victim said an unknown person drove by and began shooting.  He was transported for treatment.

According to a report, while police were on scene it was learned that the second victim had been dropped off downtown at MUSC with a gunshot wound to the leg.

Police are continuing the investigation.

Residents reported the shooting around noon.
