When Elliot Boehm showed up home with a new motorcycle, his wife did what pretty much any wife does in that situation. Jaclyn Boehm asked her husband where it came from.

According to an arrest affidavit, she got a little suspicious when she also noticed that Boehm was giving the 2007 Kawasaki Ninja a new paint job....with a spray paint can. And instead of keys, the bike was being started with a screwdriver jammed into the ignition.

The arrest record shows that she demanded he get the bike off of their property. He didn't. That's where you get to the point where pretty much any wife in that position has to make a big decision. She decided to call the cops.

Police came to the house on July 8 in the 1000 block of Eastwood Terrace in Collierville, Tennessee. They checked the VIN and discovered the bike had been stolen from Corinth, Mississippi.

Police say that Mrs. Boehm even came to the police station a few days later to pick her husband out of a photo lineup.

According to police, the motorcycle is worth about $3,500. Boehm is charged with theft between $1,000 and $10,000.
