SUMMERVILLE, SC (WCSC) - Prosecutors will wrap their case Wednesday in the murder trial for a man accused of killing a woman he met on a messaging app.
Edward Bonilla is accused of killing Ashley Pegram after they met on the "Kik" app in April 2015.
Prosecutors are trying to prove Pegram's DNA and body were in two of Bonilla's vehicles.
Dorchester County Sheriff's crime scene investigator Jeff Scott was on the stand for about two hours Tuesday afternoon.
The CSI said his team spent days processing Bonilla's personal car, his work van and his mother's car.
He testified several swabs in the trunk of at least one of the cars and inside the van tested what he called "presumptive positive" for blood.
Pegram was found nude from the waist down in a shallow grave, according to testimony given in court Tuesday.
