NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - North Charleston police are asking for the public's help to find an expectant mother who has disappeared.
Shantel Lee, 40, was last seen on Aug. 5, North Charleston Police spokesman Spencer Pryor said.
Lee is six months pregnant, he said.
When her husband arrived at her workplace to pick her up, she was not there and, according to her employer, had not shown up that morning, Pryor said.
Her husband waited several days before reporting her missing because she has done this in the past, police say.
Lee is 5'3", weighs 160 pounds, has black hair and brown eyes.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts should contact North Charleston Police at (843) 743-7200.
