NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Nearly a dozen restaurants centered in North Charleston's Olde Village will be featured in A Taste of Park Circle.
A variety of cuisines from barbecue and burgers to Asian and Cajun will be on the menu at the event September 14. The Trident Literacy Association is hosting the event on East Montague Avenue and Spruill Avenue in North Charleston. From 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. you will be able to sample food from the eclectic restaurants of the area.
Participating restaurants include: The Barbeque Joint, DIG in the Park, EVO Craft Bakery, The Junction Kitchen and Provisions, LoLA Louisiana Seafood Kitchen, Lotus Vietnamese Cuisine, Madra Rua Irish Pub, Olde Village Market and Deli, Sesame Burgers & Beer, Stems and Skins and Yo Bo Cantina Fresca.
Cumulus Radio will broadcast live from the event and Miss North Charleston will be on site as well. In addition to food, a variety of prizes will be given away including tickets to a North Charleston POPS! concert, a Stingrays hockey game and other retail gift cards.
Tickets for the event are $40 for adults and it's free for children 12 and younger.
