Lowcountry area law enforcement agencies are hiring deputies, correctional officers and others.  They will be hosting hiring events beginning the end of this month and into September.

Seeking candidates to fill following positions:

  • Detention Officer (65 positions) - Hiring salary range: $29,348 - $42,784. No experience necessary
  • Deputy Sheriff - (14 positions) - Hiring salary range: $34,985 - $40,580. Applicants must have one of the following:  four-year college degree, honorable discharge from the military, or law enforcement with at least two years certified experience
  • Computer Support Specialist I - Hiring salary range: $36,982 - $50,294. Applicants must have a high school diploma Associate Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred
  • Law Enforcement Specialist II - Hiring salary range: $33,266.00 -$37,441
  • School Crossing Officers - $10.03 per hour Minimum of 15 hours a week
