CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) -

Charleston Police are searching for a burglar with a hunger for stealing from restaurants.

Police say in the last few months, the same suspect has targeted restaurants in West Ashley, on James Island and in downtown Charleston.

The latest break in happened early Wednesday morning at the Green Goat on Savannah Highway.

Surveillance video shows the suspect break the glass front door to get inside.

"It's an invasion of privacy for sure, disappointing, especially as a small business owner you put your time in. A little bit gone, can make a big difference," Green Goat owner Kelly Huff said.

The video shows the thief trying to open a cash register.

Finally he grabs two cash boxes before leaving out the back door.

"Between the breaking of the glass and having to replace that, and the little bit of money that he did get, it's more of an insult more than anything else," Huff said.

Police believe the suspect also broke into the Screen Door and Bohemian Bull on Folly Road.

Bohemian Bull has been broken into twice.

Charleston Police recently released a flyer that has more surveillance photos of the suspect.

In one of the photos he has a star tattoo on his right forearm.

Now that she's been a victim, Huff says she's more suspicious of people.

"Going back looking at the video and wondering if this person who came in to just look at a menu, was coming in to case the joint you know sort of thing."

Huff says she and the other restaurant owners are determined to put the burglar behind bars.

"The food and beverage community is a very tight knit community and I'm hoping with everybody's input that we will be able to figure out who he is."

Anyone with information should call Charleston Police or Crime Stoppers.

Charleston police released the following information on the incidents:
