Deputies looking for 3 suspects after Berkeley County home invasion

BERKELEY COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - Deputies are looking for three suspects after a home invasion and robbery in Berkeley County, near Goose Creek.

Chief Deputy Mike Cochran with the Berkeley County Sheriff's Office says the incident was reported at a home on Elmora Avenue, near Red Bank Road early Tuesday morning.

He says the men entered the home with masks on, fired shots at one point, and were able to get out of the home. No other description has been provided.

Officials have not said what was taken from the home, but revealed the family recently moved into the neighborhood.

The incident location was near Goose Creek High School, Sedgefield Intermediate and Sedgefield Middle. School buses were re-routed to avoid the crime scene.
