CHARLESTON COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - Power has been restored to more than 23,000 customers who lost power as Tropical Storm Hermine made its way through the Lowcountry on Friday.
Around 1,000 residents were still out of power in Charleston County early Saturday morning.
Currently, there are 56 outages in Charleston County.
According to officials, most of the outages occurred late Friday night as gusty winds blew through the area after Hermine passed through.
