BERKELEY COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - Berkeley County deputies are searching for a suspect following a shooting in Goose Creek that injured a 30-year-old man Tuesday evening.
Authorities believe the shooting happened on Howe Hall Road around 6 p.m.; BCSO officials said they originally thought the incident happened on Rutt Lane, but said that location is where the victim was found.
According to the sheriff's office, the victim's aunt and brother called the shooting in and said they believed the incident happened on Howe Hall but were not positive.
"The subject left the shooting location and went to an address on Rutt Lane," BCSO officials said.
The victim, suffering from non-life threatening injuries, was transported by EMS to Trident Hospital in North Charleston.
A sheriff's office report states the victim is not cooperating with law enforcement.
"The investigative details are minimal due to the lack of cooperation from the victim," authorities said.
Authorities are continuing the investigation.
"Detectives are working the case and we hope to be able apprehend the individual(s) responsible," BCSO officials said.
