Charleston's Design Review Board to discuss proposed developments Monday

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - The city of Charleston's Design Review Board will meet to discuss several proposed developments Monday.

On the agenda: A large Sunoco gas station proposed for the site of the old Piggly Wiggly grocery store on Sam Rittenberg Boulevard.

Also being discussed: A proposed retail center with a grocery store, shops and a cafe on Folly Road, and possibly a new apartment complex on Main Road on Johns Island.

Open to the public, the meeting starts at 5 p.m. at the Gaillard Center.
