CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - The 2016 African American Tourism Conference takes place in Charleston on Saturday.
Local, state, national and international tourist executives will talk about opportunities to attract more people to the state by developing South Carolina's rich African American history.
The African American Tourism Conference is set for Saturday, October 1 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. It takes place at the Beatty Center on the College of Charleston campus on 5 Liberty Street in Charleston.
Now in its fifth year, the conference is sponsored by the The Wando-Huger CDC.
