CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Officers were called to a crash in which a truck hit a column under one of the Ashley River Bridges early Wednesday morning.
Dispatchers say the accident happened westbound near where Highway 17 and Folly Road split, just before 2 a.m.
The accident was cleared before 4:30 a.m.
No word yet on any injuries or the cause of the accident.
Traffic is moving on both of the bridges crossing the Ashley River into downtown Charleston and West Ashley.
