NORTH CHARLESTON (WCSC) -

The North Charleston Police Department is looking for two men in connection with the murder on Hassell Avenue.

Maurice Washington and Randall Myers are facing charges of murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime, according to Lt. Cathy Stanley.

North Charleston police responded to a call of shots fired on the night of Sept. 23.

The call came in at approximately 11:30 p.m. and reported gunfire on the 4600 block of Hassell Avenue.

When police arrived, they found Ivan Greene, 47, on the ground suffering from a gunshot wound.

Greene was transported to MUSC, where he later died.

Witnesses from the scene advised police they saw men shooting out of a black colored SUV.

Officers say they later found an unoccupied Lincoln Navigator matching the description within close proximity of the scene.

The SUV had collided with an electrical pole, according to an affidavit.

A forensic examination was done on the Lincoln Navigator, and fingerprints were collected.

The suspects were identified by witnesses in a line-up, an affidavit states.

If you have any information about the whereabouts of Washington or Myers, you are asked to contact the police at (843) 740-2548.
