NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - The Charleston International Airport will operate under normal conditions on Wednesday, according to a spokeswoman with the Charleston County Aviation Authority.
Tuesday afternoon Charlene Gunnells said as long as the airlines are operating, the airport would remain open.
"I expect sometime Wednesday we will make a decision about operations for Thursday, contingent on the weather and the airlines' operations," she said.
Airport officials are urging customers who are flying in or out of Charleston in the next few days to contact their airline for more information about cancellations and/or rebooking their flights.
