CURFEWS: Curfews across the Lowcountry in response to Hurricane Matthew

SOUTH CAROLINA (WCSC) -

Some Lowcountry areas are extending curfews Saturday as officials assess damages caused by Hurricane Matthew. 

Curfews do not apply to the media, medical personnel, or those who need to go to a job site, according to police.

Police are requesting that you present credentials when requested.

CHARLESTON COUNTY

Charleston County - 8 p.m. Saturday to 8 a.m. Sunday

Mt. Pleasant - Midnight to 6 a.m. Sunday 

EDISTO BEACH

Curfew remains until further notice. 

DORCHESTER COUNTY

An overnight curfew will be in place from 8 p.m. until 8 a.m. on Sunday.

UNINCORPORATED DORCHESTER COUNTY

The curfew for Unincorporated Dorchester County will be lifted at 3 p.m. Saturday. An overnight curfew will be in place from 8 p.m. until 8 a.m. Sunday

WILLIAMSBURG COUNTY 

Under curfew starting Friday at 8 p.m. 

BEAUFORT COUNTY 

Beaufort County curfew from 7 p.m Friday. to 7 a.m. Saturday

BERKELEY COUNTY 

Berkeley County curfew from midnight to 6 a.m Sunday

COLLETON COUNTY 

Colleton County from 11 p.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Saturday

JASPER COUNTY

8 p.m. Friday until sunrise Saturday

NORTH CHARLESTON

Curfew from 12 a.m. to 6 a.m. Saturday
