CHARLESTON COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - Charleston County Government will begin its debris removal operation on Wednesday Oct. 12.
Officials say crews will begin pick-up in Edisto Island, West Ashley, James Island and along Highway 174 and Highway 61 (Ashley River Road).
"Citizens are asked to place storm debris on the curb for pick-up," officials said.

Charleston County Government information:
The Charleston County Council meeting, which was originally scheduled for Tuesday, October 4 was rescheduled for 5 p.m. on Thursday, October 13. The Oct. 10 Planning Commission meeting was rescheduled for Oct. 24. The meeting will begin at 2 p.m. and will be held in Council Committee Room.
The County is at OPCON 5. The Citizen Information Line remains will be open on Wednesday, Oct. 12 from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
