MOUNT PLEASANT, SC (WCSC) - A fall favorite is reopening days after Hurricane Matthew left its mark in the Lowcountry.
The Boone Hall Pumpkin Patch is reopening Thursday and plans are for it to remain open every day through Oct. 31, Boone Hall Plantation spokesman Rick Benthall said.
The tradition has become one of the largest fall festivals in the state, he said.
The pumpkin patch will be open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Admission is $10 for ages three and up. Children two and under are admitted free with an accompanying adult.
The event had been closed because of anticipated bad weather. Boone Hall Plantation reopened earlier this week for regular tours. The Boone Hall Farmers Market is also open during its regular hours.
The event is located on Hwy. 17 in Mount Pleasant, a half-mile north of Long Point Road.
