WEST ASHLEY SC (WCSC) - Two football teams came together as one Friday night, to pray for a player whose father was killed.

Harry Lee Gressette Jr., 17, is a senior at Stratford High School. His father was murdered on Oct. 7, after an argument.

Two other men were murdered in the triple homicide.

The Berkeley County Sheriff's Office arrested Robert David Nolen, 48, of Ladson and charged him with three counts of murder, one count of attempted murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime and threatening the life of a public official.

Just before the football game against West Ashley, the Gressette family laid their father to rest.

Gressette did not play in the game, but he came to show his support.

"We had my fathers funeral, and my little brother was strong enough to make it to his game." Ally Gressette Walker, sister of Harry Lee Jr., said.

In a photo you can see both teams surround the player with their hands outstretched, and their heads bowed.

The photo was taken by a coach with Stratford High School.

"We think this is amazing. We are so grateful for all the love and support they have shown our brother and our family." Walker said about the photo.
