ANDERSON, SC (WYFF) - The estranged wife of the Charlie Carver, the missing man found dead on Todd Kohlhepp's property, has been arrested, according to Anderson police.
Nichole Ellen Carver, 35, was charged with impersonating a police officer, according to police.
Police said Nichole posed as a detective to get information on the disappearance of Charlie.
Nichole called AT&T and identified herself as a detective and provided a badge number in an attempt to geo-locate Charlie's phone, according to an arrest warrant.
An incident report said that an AT&T employee contacted dispatchers to verify the information about the detective that Nichole had given. The detective was then notified, the report said.
Charlie was the missing Anderson man whose body was found Friday on Todd Kohlhepp's property. His body was discovered after his girlfriend, Kayla Brown, was rescued Thursday from a container on the property.
Three bodies have been found on Kohlhepp's property on Wofford Road, according to Spartanburg County authorities. Kohlhepp also confessed to the four murders at Superbike Motorsports in 2003.
