GEORGETOWN COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - Lowcountry investigators are searching for a couple who stole nearly $1000 worth of baby formula.

Officials with the Georgetown County Sheriff's Office say the incidents happened at a grocery store and a pharmacy.

According to authorities, the pair shoplifted $200 worth of baby formula from the CVS on 10317 Ocean Hwy on Nov. 13.

A report states they then went to Bilo on 115 Wilbrook Blvd. and took $700 worth of baby formula.

"The male entered Bilo again on the 15th of November and attempted to remove additional baby formula, but was approached by an employee which caused the suspect to flee the scene on foot without the items," GCSO officials said.

Investigators describe the male suspect as 6-foot in height, weighing 230 pounds with black receding hair, and wearing a dark fleece jacket, light colored t-shirts and jeans.

The female suspect is described as 5'6", heavy build with longer blond hair, and wearing dark framed glasses, a green shirt and dark pants.

"Anyone who has any information regarding the identity of the individuals is asked to contact the Georgetown County Sheriff's Office (843) 546-5101," GCSO officials said.
