Police responding to overturned vehicle on IOP connector

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) -

Emergency crews are responding to an overturned vehicle on the IOP Connector Thursday afternoon. 

According to Mt. Pleasant police, the incident involves injuries near Hungry Neck Boulevard.

    One woman is dead after being involved in a traffic accident in North Charleston on Saturday morning. Melanie Bowman, of Summerville, was pronounced dead at the scene of a traffic accident on Blue House Road in North Charleston, near the Ladson area.     The identity of a woman who died in a fatal accident Friday morning has been released. Margaret O'Hear, of the Walterboro area, died at MUSC from injuries she sustained during a traffic accident. The accident occurred shortly before 11:00 a.m. on March 24. Deputies soon arrived near the intersection of Savannah Highway and Main Road to investigate a three-car accident with reported injuries.
