Amber alert issued for teen abducted in Georgia

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) -

An Amber alert has been issued for a 15-year-old who South Carolina officials say was abducted in Georgia. 

Authorities are searching for Calah Noel Waskow.

She's described as 5'4", 98 pounds, blonde shoulder length hair and blue eyes.

Officials with SLED say she was abducted on Dec. 4, 2016 in Evans, Ga. 

"The child is believed to be in extreme danger," SLED officials said. 

A SLED report states the suspect in the case has been identified as 37-year-old Jason Arlis Johnson. He's described as 5'8", 175 pounds, blue eyes and blonde/brown hair.

A report states that he may have shaved his head. 

Authorities are searching for a 1998 tan Ford Crown Victoria with SC tag KVJ240.
