CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) -

Charleston investigators are on the lookout for two men who were caught on camera stealing items from the Charleston Harbor Pilot House in downtown.

Last Wednesday, police officers responded to Concord Street regarding a theft that had happened that morning.

The victim said someone had stolen three "challenge coins" from his collection and a sextant.

A dispatcher told police she was in the dispatch office on the second floor when she heard two people in an office.

According to the dispatcher, she heard the two walk into another office then into a bathroom before they walked to her office door which was open.

The two suspects then fled the scene.

The dispatcher says she called 911 after watching through surveillance cameras the suspects walk out the door, put their hoods on and walk back inside.

The suspects were then seen leaving the building again and were last seen walking west on South Adgers Wharf.

A report states the suspects appeared to be intoxicated as they meandered through the building.

Police say one of the suspects was seen on video carrying an object against his chest as he left.

CPD officials describe one of the suspects as a white male wearing a Michael Jordan long sleeve shirt, jeans, dark shoes, and had cropped hair and a mustache.

The second suspect is described as a white male with short, cropped hair and a beard. He was last seen wearing a dark jacket and jeans.
