Worsham served Berkeley County as Deputy Fire Chief for Pimlico Rural Volunteer Fire Department, Assistant Chief of Fire Prevention and Inspections for Whitesville Rural Volunteer Fire Department, Second Vice President of SC Chapter of the International Association of Arson Investigators, a member of the Berkeley County Chief's Association, and a member of the National Fire Protection Association. Worsham, who also previously served the Lowcounty in the Dorchester County Sheriff's Office and the Isle of Palms Fire Department, was considered a mentor and an inspiration to young firefighters.
While fire service was his passion, Worsham's life was about giving and service to others. Worsham was known as "dad' to the young dancers at Planet Dance, his wife's business where he volunteered moving props and sewing the girls' ballet shoes. Worsham had many interests, including spending time working on and trading cars. He was everyone's "go-to guy" and will be greatly missed by many.
Memorials for Worsham may be made to National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (P. O. Drawer 498, Emmitsburg, MD 21727).
