NORTH CHARLESTON (WCSC) - A Charleston man says he was eating a sandwich during his lunch hour when he won $250,000 on a scratch-off ticket.
"I went back to work and didn't say a thing," he said.
He says he did call his wife, who didn't believe him when he told her the news.
According to the South Carolina Education Lottery, the man plans to use his winnings to pay for his children's college education.
The ticket was purchased at the Tigers Market in North Charleston.
The odds of winning $250,000 are 1 in 700,000.
