ORANGEBURG COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - A Lowcountry teenager is behind bars for a shooting that left two people wounded.
The Orangeburg County Sheriff's Office say 18-year-old Laquan Boatwright of Neeses is charged with attempted murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a crime.
Bond was was set at $60,000.
Authorities say the teen was arrested one day after the Tuesday shooting at a Shell convenience store on Cannon Bridge Road and Cordova Road.
"Witnesses said a group of males were shooting a video in the parking lot of the business when they were approached by several other persons," OCSO officials said.
A report states a dispute broke out between some of the male subjects gathered outside of the business.
Witnesses said it was then that shots were fired.
"Security video captured some of the witnesses who may have information on the shooting," OCSO officials said. "If anyone has information on the male in the blue jacket shown in the video, they are asked to contact the OCSO at 803-534-3550 or Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC."
