Officers respond to robbery at downtown Charleston gas station

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) -

Dispatchers confirm Charleston Police officers were on the scene of a robbery overnight.

The incident happened at the Exxon gas station at 420 Meeting Street just after midnight, according to Charleston County Consolidated Dispatch. 

Dispatchers say a unit was still on the scene through 2:45 a.m. Thursday.
