Many in the Lowcountry are making this big mistake - easily putting guns in the hands of criminals. The number of thefts rise higher and higher each year, thieves are getting easy access to hundreds of guns in places where you think feel safe. 

Live 5's Liza Lucas investigates the alarming number of thefts happening here in the Lowcountry and what police are doing to prevent this trend.
