Charleston police searching for shoplifters of 'large amounts' of baby formula

JAMES ISLAND, SC (WCSC) -

Charleston police say they need help in identifying a man and woman accused of stealing large amounts of baby formula.

The shoplifting incidents occurred at the James Island Publix on Feb. 6, Feb. 21 and Feb. 26, Charleston Police spokesman Charles Francis said. 

Police released surveillance images of a woman and two different images of what is believed to be the same man in connection with the thefts.

Anyone with information on the pair's identity is asked to contact Charleston County Consolidated Dispatch at 843-743-7200 and ask for the on-duty Charleston Police detective or call Crime Stoppers at 843-554-1111.
