GEORGETOWN, SC (WCSC) - Another chance to give thoughts on the future of a shuttered Georgetown steel mill site will be offered Monday.
Last September, panelists with the Urban Land Institute Advisory Services took input from over 800 individuals to get a large sample of ideas on what to do with the old ArcelorMittal-Georgetown mill, city officials say.
In an effort to gather more input, three meetings were scheduled for this month.
Monday's meeting is at 6 p.m. at the Howard Center on Hawkins Street. A final meeting will be held Tuesday at Duncan United Methodist Church on Highmarket street, also at 6 p.m.
The first Meeting was on Thursday, March 2.
