NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - The Park Circle area of North Charleston goes Irish for largest St. Patrick's Day celebration in the Lowcountry.
East Montague Avenue in North Charleston's Olde Village will shut down for a parade and street party from 12 to 6 p.m. The party includes three stages of live music, food, and drinks on the street and in local establishments. Activities for children include jump castles, an inflatable obstacle course, a fire truck, and face painting.
The parade begins at 12 p.m. on Park Place East and proceeds down East Montague all the way to Virginia Avenue.
East Montague will be closed from Virginia to Jenkins Avenue from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. The stretch of East Montague extending to Park Place East will also be closed from 11:30 a.m. until the end of the parade.
