NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - North Charleston Police released a still from surveillance video showing the woman they say robbed a Remount Road pharmacy store Tuesday morning.
A Rite Aid pharmacy employee was approached by a woman shortly before 10 a.m. who showed a handgun and demanded the drug Xanax, North Charleston Police spokesman Spencer Pryor said.
Pryor said the robber then left the store. The investigation into the incident is ongoing, he said.
Charleston County Consolidated Dispatch says they received a call at 9:40 a.m.
Police say she was wearing blue or green hospital scrubs with a green long-sleeve shirt underneath them. She had red hair and numerous ear piercings.
