BARNWELL COUNTY, SC (WCSC) -

SLED officials have announced the arrest of another North Charleston man accused in a bank robbery which led to a chase and wreck in Colleton County.

Authorities have charged 40-year-old James Lamar Frasier with robbery, robbery while armed or allegedly armed with a deadly weapon, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, kidnapping and criminal conspiracy.

Frasier's charges stems from a bank robbery on the morning of March 8 in Blackville.

Agents have already charged 39-year-old Alcleius Laroy of N. Charleston with the same charges.

Affidavits allege Jones and two co-conspirators robbed the Enterprise Bank on Main Street in Blackville.

The kidnapping charge is based on Jones and his co-conspirators "holding them at gunpoint and restraining their hands" during the robbery, court documents state.

Jones was one of three men arrested after leading authorities on a chase into Colleton County, said Thom Berry with SLED. The three men were apprehended when their car overturned at Highway 61 and Sydney's Road.

Deputies saw a car matching the description of the car believed to be involved in the bank robbery at approximately 9:21 a.m. in Bamberg County. According to SCHP officials, a Colleton County deputy deployed stop sticks on Highway 61 near the I-95 overpass.

Even though the right front tire deflated due to the stop sticks, the suspects' vehicle kept driving. SCHP officials say troopers were then able to stop the driver using an immobilization technique called the "Pit Maneuver" causing the driver to lose control. The driver hit a tree and overturned.

According to a report, one person was thrown from the car and two others crawled out.

Highway Patrol officials say the suspects were checked by EMS and then taken to Colleton Hospital.

SLED investigated the case at the request of the Blackville Police Department.
