The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division has announced the arrest of a Summerville man in connection with a bank robbery in Blackville.

Mikell Nelson II, 32, is charged with kidnapping, a felony carrying a penalty upon conviction of up to 30 years in prison, according to SLED. Officials say Nelson is one of three men who went inside the Enterprise Bank on Main Street, held people at gunpoint and restrained their hands on March 8.

The men were arrested after leading authorities on a chase into Colleton County, said Thom Berry with SLED. They were apprehended when their car overturned at Highway 61 and Sydney's Road.

Agents have already charged 40-year-old James Lamar Frasier and 39-year-old Alcleius Laroy in connection with the incident.
