Two people wanted for check fraud at multiple CSRA Walmarts

COLUMBIA COUNTY, GA (WFXG) -

The pictured suspects are responsible for presenting counterfeit checks and presenting fake ID’s at various Walmart locations in Columbia County, Richmond County and Aiken County. 

The victim, Ernest Irving discovered two fraudulent checks were used at the Walmart in Grovetown. The checks were written in the amounts of $449.48 and $478.63. He also noticed similar alerts on his account from Aiken, SC, Augusta, and Atlanta, GA. They are believed to be driving a burgundy van.

    14,000 people filled the streets of downtown Augusta on June 23rd to celebrate the Augusta Pride festival. They filled the streets with bright colors and happy people all weekend for the 9th annual festival.     Around 40 volunteers made their way into the CSRA in the morning on June 23rd to bring brand new beds to children in need. The program is called A Place to Dream, and is sponsored by the YMCA.  There were five homes that got new beds.
