CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - It was a particular warm day on Tuesday, so warm that we broke a record.
We got to a high of 90 degrees today breaking the old record of 87.
It's the warmest that we've seen since 1976 in March.
"We had a great warm winter with only a couple of short cold spells but this just shows you how the temperatures can swing this time of the year," said Live 5 Chief Meteorologist Bill Walsh.
We should cool down on Wednesday as a cold front will move south through the area increasing our clouds and bringing some showers back into the forecast.
Shower chances are 20% into Wednesday morning with highs on Wednesday around 70.
Thursday looks mostly cloudy with cool highs in the mid to upper 50's.
By Friday, temps will moderate to the lower 70's.
