Hundreds of dollars worth of dog food stolen from Berkeley County animal shelter

BERKELEY COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - The Berkeley County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a local animal shelter was burglarized.

On Wednesday night, someone broke into the Doc Williams SPCA in Moncks Corner and stole $100 in adoption money and dog food.  The dog was worth $500.
