NORTH CHARLESTON (WCSC) - If you've shopped at a Harbor Freight store between 2011 and 2016, you may be entitled to a refund.
Harbor Freight Tools settled a lawsuit accusing the company of misleading shoppers by listing inaccurate "regular" prices during sales. As part of the lawsuit agreement, patrons who made purchases between April 8, 2011 and Dec. 5, 2016 could get up to 30 percent back on their purchases via check or gift card.
According to the settlement website, those with receipts and/or debit card/credit card purchases may file their claim forms electronically or send them to National Sale Price Settlement c/o GCG, P.O. Box 10351, Dublin, OH 43017-5551 by Aug. 7.
There are 16 Harbor Freight locations in South Carolina, with one on Dorchester Road.
