Soldiers' Angels program to provide food for over 200 veterans and families

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) -

Set to provide food for more than 200 low-income veterans and their families, the Soldiers' Angels Hunger Relief program returns to the Citadel Friday.

The event will be held from noon to 2 p.m. at The Citadel's Altman Athletic Center in the Johnson Hagood Stadium parking lot.

Each veteran and their family will receive 50 pounds of food.

The program is made possible through a partnership with The Citadel and the Low Country Food Bank.
