Police identify, charge man shown in computer repair store burglary footage

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Charleston Police say they have identified and charged a man caught on camera during the burglary of a downtown computer repair store.

Jacob Bennett is charged with second-degree burglary and grand larceny, Charleston Police spokesman Charles Francis said.

Police released surveillance images Tuesday and asked for the public's help to identify a man shown taking money out of a cash register at the Computer Repair Doctor on King Street.

Bennett was being held at the Al Cannon Detention Center.
