Police: N. Charleston woman reported missing has been located

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - North Charleston police say a woman reported missing by her family has been located.

The 55-year-old had last been seen Tuesday at 8:15 a.m. by her sister, according to North Charleston Police spokesman Spencer Pryor.

Her family says she is deaf and has suffered from schizophrenia for 20 years but has been progressively worse.

Police say she disappeared once approximately three years ago and ended up in St. Augustine, Florida.

Authorities did not provide any details of where she was located.
