ORANGEBURG, SC (WCSC) - A victim of the Mother Emanuel massacre will be posthumously inducted into her college's Hall of Fame.
Sharonda Coleman-Singleton ran track at South Carolina State University. She will be inducted into the school's Hall of Fame, along with several others, during a ceremony Friday evening on the campus.
Coleman-Singleton was one of nine people murdered at Mother Emanuel AME Church in downtown Charleston in 2015.
Coleman-Singleton was also a track and field coach at Goose Creek High School when she was killed.
The original induction ceremony was canceled because of Hurricane Matthew this past fall. Tickets are available for purchase by calling (803) 536-8579.
