Banquet Chicken Nugget meals recalled for potential dessert contamination

Banquet is recalling more than 110,000 pounds of chicken nugget meals because the brownie desserts in them may be contaminated with Salmonella.

Conagra Brands, Inc. received notification from a supplier that an ingredient used in the mix may be contaminated.

Affected are Banquet Chicken Nuggets with Mac & Cheese, in 7.4-ounce vacuum-packed trays with Code 3100080921 and a "BEST IF USED BY" date of July 20, 2018.

The products have FSIS establishment number “P-9” printed on the side of the box. 

They were distributed nationally.

No illnesses relating to the product have been confirmed.
